QUIZ: How Well Do You Remember “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air”?

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was an absolutely fantastic show. It was on the air for six years and entertained us throughout them. Will Smith’s character was endearing and well-intentioned (most of the time) and Carlton reminded us all of that family member. Uncle Phil was the seemingly cold figure who warmed our hearts when he displayed otherwise, and Jazz was the friend our parents were glad we never had.

As a kid, I was obsessed with sitcoms. Especially the ones that aired before my time. Keeping Up Appearances, The Good Life, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air were among my favourites.

So, how much can you remember from the hip show with the cool intro song that we can all still remember all the words to?

Remember X-Factor’s LUCY SPRAGGAN? Here’s What She’s Up To Now!

In 2012, Lucy Spraggan wowed the X-Factor judges with her quirky original songs and was a firm favourite after her audition, where she sang her song ‘Last Night’, with relatable lyrics about drinking and its consequences.

Lucy made it all the way to the finals, with Tulisa as her mentor, before she had to drop out of the show due to illness. She was too ill to perform in Week Four, so she was put through to Week Five automatically. However, she then bowed out from the show, saying it wasn’t fair for her to get any more free passes as a result of being unable to perform.

So, while many people loved Lucy Spraggan and have kept tuned into what she’s been up to (I know I have), this is an update on what she’s gotten up to since leaving the X-Factor…

A crowd-pleasing oceanic musical with big tunes and beguiling characters, Moana is likely to thwack a big smile on your face. And did we mention the idiotic chicken? – Empire

TEST: How Well Do You Know Disney Trivia?

Who doesn’t love Disney?

For many young adults it a guilty pleasure to be cuddled up on the sofa or in bed (up to you really) watching some good old fashioned Disney films. Is there any better way to spend a day home?

For many young adults, we grew up with Disney films. They were a constant source of entertainment. Many of these films taught us a lesson. For example, Beauty and the Beast taught us to look for the beauty inside (or go for the man with a huge library). And Mulan taught me that you should help your family no matter what (under most circumstances).

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and my heroes come in the form of Disney characters.

For a lot of people, their introduction to Disney films was a defining moment in their childhood and helped mold them into the people they are today. So really we have Disney to thank for how we are… Well, mostly.

Disney films have played a huge part in every 90s child’s life, as well as being an influential part of the millennial generation. Admit it, you know at least a handful of Disney songs off by heart.

But the real question is if you’re a true die-hard Disney fan or simply nostalgic about films from your childhood.

Here are 10 questions which only true Disney fans will be able to answer. If you answer them correctly then you truly are a Disney die-hard, but if you don’t pass this quiz, then I fear you may be banished to the Shadow Lands… (Extra points if you get that reference.)

So, will you pass or fail?

TEST: Impossible “Would You Rather” Challenge for Brits!

British people have had many things dividing them recently. Brexit was a huge one, and the memes that followed were a thing of beauty. More recently was the Marmite Crisis that came to light after Tesco admitted they would no longer be stocking the “love me or hate me” product due to Brexit ramifications.

TEST: Do You Know These 90s Films?

Do you fancy yourself as a bit of a film buff? Do you think you can remember the titles of all of these 90s films? Take the test and find out!

20th Century Fox

These are the films we look back on fondly, even though now they have the distinct 90s technological disadvantages that aren’t present in modern films, we still love these movies despite their shortcomings.

The CGI isn’t as good, we don’t care. It’s part of what makes these films fantastic. The kids who acted in some of these films have grown up and Googling them now makes us feel old, but it doesn’t matter because our childhood is as immortalised as theirs in these classic films we watched when we were younger.

The real question, though, is how well does your memory serve you? Can you remember the name of these movies just from looking at a single screenshot from within the film? Not only will it be interesting to see how many you can name, this quiz is also fun because you’ll remember a bunch of films you watched when you were younger that you’ve not even thought about in years – and you’ll want to rewatch them. I know I saw “The Page Master” and said, aloud in the coffee shop I am working in, “oh my gosh I remember that film!”

TEST: Can You Find All 29 Animals In This Hectic 90s Wallpaper?

The 90s were a peculiar time for many of us. A lot of weird stuff happened that we are oddly proud of reminiscing about, but one thing I have not thought about in a long while is how bizarre our computer backgrounds were.

There were lots of bright colours, lots of images meshed together to make really messy collages, and nine times out of ten, the pictures were hideously stretched because the file was not actually the right size for your screen. Or you’d make your own wallpaper on MS Paint of all your favourite things?

Can you find all 29 animals in this 90s wallpaper? There is a lot going on in the image, so it seems fairly easy, to begin with, but then you get asked where salamander or the frog are and you have no idea where to look.

It’s like a cuter version of Where’s Wally? because animals make everything cuter. Which animal in this busy wallpaper do you like best? Tag yourself, I’m the Red Parrot that has its head tilted and looks like it’s photobombing.

If you manage to find all of them, let us know in the comments!

TEST: Can You Solve This Simple Primary School Maths Problem?

Maths is one of those subjects at school that virtually no one likes, and questions like this are exactly why.

It may look simple, but this maths problem designed for primary school-aged kids is stumping the internet.

Most adults can’t seem to get this sum right on the first try, but to pass all you really have to do is remember your days spent in the classroom.

We mean the times you actually listened, not the ones you spent wishing you were absolutely anywhere else but in maths class.

So, are you smarter than a 10-year-old?

TEST: Which Aspect Of Your Life Do You Need Julie Andrews To Fix For You?

Yesterday was Dame Julie Andrews’ birthday. Julie Andrews is so multi-talented; she’s a film and stage actress, a singer, an author, a theatre director, and a dancer. As well as this, she also co-writes children’s book series ‘The Very Fairy Princess’ with her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton.

Julie Andrews, who made her film debut in Mary Poppins (aka my favourite childhood movie) is now 81-years-old and though she has aged gracefully, she has bestowed some truly inspiring advice based on her years of life experience, and some just truly amusing tidbits…

Perseverance is failing 19 times and succeeding the 20th.
Sometimes opportunities float right past your nose. Work hard, apply yourself, and be ready. When an opportunity comes you can grab it.
All love shifts and changes. I don’t know if you can be wholeheartedly in love all the time.
Sometimes I’m so sweet even I can’t stand it.
Some people regard discipline as a chore. For me, it is a kind of order that sets me free to fly.
I hate the word wholesome.
I would be a fool to deny my own abilities.

TEST: How Well Do You REALLY Know The “Mean Girls” Movie?

Everyone remembers the movie Mean Girls. So many of its quotes are used in popular culture, so even the two people who haven’t watched it at least know that on Wednesdays, we wear pink.

While there has been many a rumour about a Mean Girls sequel, none have yet to come to fruition.

Earlier this year, there was talk of Tina Fey having a ‘Mean Girls Musical’ in the works, which was said to feature “more classic, Broadway-style music than pop-skewing, Bring It On: The Musical-like songs”. When Fey appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, she spoke about the plot – “We haven’t finished it yet, but it’s close — yes, pretty close”.

Regardless of whether of not the Mean Girls franchise does continue, in whatever form, how well do you really know the original?

You might know the Basic Bitch facts, but do you know the film inside out? Prove it! Take the quiz below and share your results in the comments! Just know that if you don’t do great, then you can’t sit with us.
