Say what you like about Katie Price as a businesswoman, but you have to admit, she’s one hell of a mother!
The model turned Loose Woman panelist has taken to Twitter and Instagram to name and shame people who choose to bully her disabled son Harvey online.
Katie has started to screenshot the hateful posts, as well as tagging trolls in a bid to find their whereabouts.
Followers are supporting the star, and are helping in her bid to track down the various cyber-bullies.
And she now intends to take it one step further by getting the police involved with the more serious cases.
Learning of the jokes aimed at Harvey seem to have truly hurt Katie, but she seems to be taking things in her stride.
Harvey, now 13-years-old, is blind and has Prada-Willi Syndrome, a condition where sufferers are constantly hungry and often unable to control their eating. He also suffers from Autism and a variety of related learning and behavioural difficulties.
In the past Katie has shared the struggles of caring for a disabled child, but also shown the love she has for son Harvey, as well as her other children.
A spokesperson for disability charity Scope, told: “We hope those responsible are ashamed of themselves for bullying a young disabled person.
“Nobody should be abused simply because of who they are. We wouldn’t tolerate this abuse on our streets or in our schools and we shouldn’t tolerate it online. As a society we need to get better at accepting difference.”
