Ah Anchorman… Has any movie produced quite as many legendary moments as this one?
For those of us with a terrible sense of humour, Anchorman was the comedy film of 2004. Based in a TV news studio in 1970’s San Diego, thanks to news team Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), Brick Tamlin (Steve Caroll) and Champ Kind (David Koechner), the film remains just as iconic (and hilarious) today as it was back then.
Seriously, my generation love this movie like Brick loves Lamp, and 12 years on we still quote it at EVERY SINGLE OPPORTUNITY.
So how well do you remember the legend of Ron Burgundy?

British people have had many things dividing them recently. Brexit was a huge one, and the memes that followed were a thing of beauty. More recently was the Marmite Crisis that came to light after Tesco admitted they would no longer be stocking the “love me or hate me” product due to Brexit ramifications.
And now, we are presenting you with your toughest choice as a British citizen yet! It’s a classic game of ‘Would You Rather?’ with a British theme. Some questions will have a clear option for you to pick, but there will be some that you really have to scratch your head over for a moment and honestly ponder the pros and cons of both.
Let us know which options you picked in the comments – which decisions were really hard to make?
Share this quiz with your friends and see if they make the same tough calls as you, or maybe their “obviously wrong” answers will change the nature of your friendship forever…
I don’t know about you, but for me, weekend mornings as a child meant waking up at the ass-crack of dawn and sneaking downstairs to watch cartoons. In hindsight, my parents probably knew I was creeping downstairs ridiculously early, they probably just didn’t care since it meant I wasn’t waking them up.
Some of my favourites were Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and the Powerpuff Girls. Oh, and my absolute favourite was Super Duper Sumos.
It probably had something to do with the fact that they used their butts to fight bad guys…
So, given my cartoon experience, I feel fairly confident that I could recognise my favourite characters today, even if they have been blurred.
Do you think you could identify your childhood cartoon friends? Let us know how you do in the comments, along with your favourite cartoon show!
The films that came out in the 80s are some of the best and most loved. We all have our favourite 80s film; Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and those are just the ones off the top of my head! Nearly all of the films that came out in the 80s would be deemed ‘classics’, a title which is difficult to earn.
In each of our favourite films, we have our favourite characters, the characters we have crushes on, and those we idolise. But which of your favourite 80s characters are you most like?
Do you want to change the world like Frances “Baby” Houseman?
Are you a good-hearted, streetwise troublemaker like Ferris Bueller?
Or are you accident-prone but nevertheless brave, like Marty McFly?
You’ll have to take the quiz to know for sure, and make sure to share your results with us in the comments!
No one was cool as a teenager, and ifyou were, you’re probably a crappy adult now (hey, don’t be mad at me, it’s backed by science).
Still, there are several layers of lame, and no two nerdlings are born the same. There are those who went through the emo phase, the chav phase, or the most dreaded phase of all if you happened to be male: the wank sock phase *shudders*.
Anyway, now that you’re a fully fledged grown-up with a job and everything, it’s funny to look back on just how embarassing you were in your youth.
Well, sort of…
Take our quiz below to find out just how cringe-worthy your teenage years really were, and don’t forget to post your result in the comments section along with all the other formerly-awkward souls.
If it has been a few years since you left school, you may have forgotten more about the stuff you learned than you may think.
When I think back to my Science classes, I do have vivid memories of lighting the gas taps, getting my lab coat signed by my mates and doing loads of cool experiments. Academically however I have very few memories.
I am pretty certain that if I sat down to take a GSCE in Chemistry, Physics or Biology today, I would fail miserably.
In the test below you will be asked some GCSE Science questions to see if any of the knowledge has stayed with you.
You will be asked a number of multiple choice questions. Just click on the correct answer from the options shown under the question.
When you have finished the test, don’t forget to share your score on Facebook with your friends.
